If you are in the luxury market then you know that perceived value is everything. Your ability to charge luxe prices for something that has the relatively same cost to make and acquire as your non luxe competitor, depends largely on the perception of the buyer.
If you company has, wait for it, I’m going to use an “Industry Buzz Word”… “brand equity”, and the luxury consumer market sees your instagram, and other social media outlets as being luxurious, expensive or exclusive then yes that will help them be willing to spend more on your product or service.
So protecting your image is essential in this market even more so than the traditional consumer market at large.
